Y-Tel and Dotcom Announce That They Have Jointly Installed a Mesh Network Build-Out in Nacogdoches, Texas19 October 2005
Y-Tel International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: YTLI), a provider of telecommunications, VoIP and Wi-Fi services and devices, announced today they have completed installation on their first Mesh Network with Dotcom, an Internet Service Provider located in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Y-Tel's Wi-Fi Mesh Network for voice will range from 1 to 100 square miles. This versatile hardware solution is available in 2.4GHz 802.11b Wi-Fi and includes a low-cost high performance platform which offers true delivery of up to 11 Mbps over the air with 2048-bit Node-to-Node encryption to WEP128 plus VPN support.
Mr. Fernandez, President of Dotcom, said, "The installation of this network will enable us to convert our current dial-up customers to high speed service and allow us to offer both Wi-Fi and VoIP coverage. Y-Tel will be sharing revenue on dial-up customers subscribing to the new Wi-Fi Mesh Network. Y-Tel has signed an exclusive revenue-sharing agreement with Dotcom to distribute its latest VoIP products, including CellNet(TM) and their Wi-Fi/Hotspot phone, throughout Nacogdoches, Texas.
CellNet(TM) is a VoIP Service that will allow the end-user 2 VoIP options. With the installations of the CellNet(TM) Box in either the home or office, Y-Tel will be able to offer VoIP wireless service from the home, which is Option 1. The 2nd option would enable customers the ability to make international VoIP phone calls using your existing cell phone - a patent-pending Voice-over-the-Internet complete mobile solution.
Y-Tel's newly developed patent-pending Wi-Fi/Hotspot phone is being marketed as the complete turnkey out-of-the-box solution for Voice-over-the-Internet. This turnkey solution can be sold wherever Ethernet connectivity is available worldwide. The Wi-Fi Phone charging base with a built-in AP Router provides several wireless solutions.
