Wireless VoIP Application Will Run on All Future Sensoria Mesh-Enabled Devices

Sensoria Corporation, a leader in mobile mesh networking software and equipment for voice, video and other broadband data communications, has completed the communications "triple play" by adding VoWi-Fi to its family of mobile mesh networking equipment.

"Originally developed for demanding soldier-to-soldier communications for the military, Sensoria is in a position to provide a highly integrated peer-to-peer voice communication solution in addition to real-time video and data sharing for public safety organizations and other emerging voice-centric users," says Dave Gelvin, Sensoria President and CEO, who explains that delivering voice over Wi-Fi is more challenging than video and data communications because conversations cannot tolerate latency.

Sensoria worked with TeleSym to develop a VoIP solution for peer-to-peer communication optimized for wireless networks. Sensoria has licensed the source code to all of TeleSym's SymPhone product family in order to continue to integrate and evolve this capability into Sensoria's wireless mesh solutions.
