VoIP Inc Signs Virtual Service Provider Deal with Aspect Solutions Inc17 December 2004
VoIP, Inc. (OTCBB:VOII) that it has signed a Virtual Service Provider (VSP) Agreement with Aspect Solutions, Inc. a Fremont, California company. The company will offer voice over IP (VoIP) telephone service to its customer base, allowing it's customers to bypass traditional phone companies, signaling the start of a technological shift that could change the communications industry--one of the biggest and most important industries in the US economy.
"A growing demand from mid-sized and smaller network service providers in the area of VoIP, but the high price of operating a soft switch, termination network, billing system, and the related staffing is typically outside the cost effective range for these service providers. Our program is designed to be a economical and efficient solution for these providers, enabling them to begin offering VoIP to their clients quickly and without a large investment of their time or money; We offer companies a way to sell enhanced communications service without the cost of investment in new systems or the learning curve or time to market problems while allowing the companies to retain ownership of their customers unlike reseller models from other voice providers," commented Bill Burbank COO VoIP, Inc.
The Aspect Solutions web sites and other sales and distribution channels will offer customers a choice of services, rate plans and local telephone numbers. The Agreement will permit Aspect Solutions to market Enhanced Services from country to country utilizing Voice Over Internet Protocol. "The VSP service offered by VoIP Inc. has enabled Aspect Solutions to escalate the launch of our service by several months and significantly reduced our capital cost," commented Francisco Laboy, VoIP Solutions, Inc. Sales Manager.
Under the Agreement, VoIP Inc. will supply their proprietary (MTA's) Multimedia Terminal Adaptor W/ router function from its wholly owned subsidiary, VoIP Solutions Inc.
"After extensive research and analysis, we chose VoIP Inc. as our provider of VoIP solutions based on their ability to quickly deliver a complete VoIP solution which allows us to concentrate on increasing our customer base, rather than in the technical shortcomings and time consumption that comes with having to create our own platform. For a start-up VoIP service provider, that's music to our ears. No other company was with us all the way during the pre-sale period, as VoIP Inc. was in addition the VSP service has brought forward our launch by several months and significantly reduced our capital cost," commented Ganesh Tangella, president and founder Aspect Solutions, Inc.
"This relationship further substantiates our strategy to provide our international partners with enhanced services to be offered in local markets, local currency and local languages. This agreement represents our continuing commitment to International Markets and is one of many that will facilitate our global network services and CPE manufacturing business," commented Steven Ivester, VoIP Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer.
