Viper Networks Launches Next Generation Wi-Fi VoIP Phone

22 June 2005

Viper Networks, Inc. (OTC:VPER) announced today that it has completed testing and will begin marketing a new version of its Wi-Fi enabled phone that operates on its global VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network.

The Wi-Fi vPhone 3100 will replace the 2100 model that the Company launched in April of 2004, making it one of the first in the VoIP industry to do so.

Viper Networks' Wi-Fi vPhone is a device that allows users to make phone calls over Viper's global VoIP network from any "hotspot" or location with 802.11 wireless Internet access.

The Company hopes that increased availability of Wi-Fi hotspots such as those found in many Starbucks(R) (NASDAQ:SBUX) and other public and private locations, in conjunction with a new lower equipment price, will lead to increased sales of the 3100.

Viper Networks CEO Ron Weaver, who spoke about the potential of the product at last year's Wi-Fi Business development Summit in Paris, commented, "I am ecstatic, as this moves Viper Networks far ahead of our competition in the VoIP market. We have been offering a Wi-Fi VoIP device to our customers for over one year and are already offering a new and improved product at a better price."

Weaver concluded, "With Vonage(R) attempting to follow our lead by offering a Wi-Fi device before the end of this year, it tells me that Viper is on the leading edge of innovation in the VoIP market. I belive our one year head start will be advantageous in any competitive situation."

Look for the Wi-Fi vPhone model 3100 for purchase on the Viper Networks web site (www.vipernetworks.com), through our distributors, and in our recently launched retail partner stores.
