SupportSoft Hires New Vice President of Human Resources23 April 2005
SupportSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPRT - News), a leading provider of Real-Time Service Management (RTSM(TM)) software, today announced that Patricia Wilbur has joined the Company as Vice President of Human Resources. In her new position, Ms. Wilbur will oversee all aspects of SupportSoft's human resources operations, and will serve as a strategic advisor to executive management regarding planning, organization development, and company policies and practices.
Ms. Wilbur comes to SupportSoft from Veritas Software Corporation where she served as a Human Resources Director. She has more than 15 years of experience in implementing domestic and international HR projects -- leading efforts to enhance and benchmark compensation programs, performance management and recognition, staff recruitment, management training, and management reporting and analysis. Prior to joining Veritas, Ms. Wilbur held various senior HR positions at some of the most progressive technology firms, including PlaceWare, Inc., AristaSoft Corporation, and Seagate Technology.
