Spirit Telecom Selects TeleGea to Support Hosted VoIP25 January 2005
Spirit Telecom, the Columbia, SC-based retail competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) that also provides wholesale services locally and nationally, selected TeleGea's VoIP Delivery Management Solution to accelerate and scale residential and enterprise VoIP services delivered by its wholesale customers, as well as delivery of VoIP services to its own direct enterprise customers. Owned by a group of 15 independent and cooperative telephone operating companies (IOC) in the Southeast United States, Spirit Telecom will employ the highly customizable TeleGea VoIP Delivery Management Solution to standardize and automate its processes through a single service delivery environment coordinating order management, provisioning workflow and billing tasks, all of which had previously been separate and manually intensive.
