Sigma Systems' OSS VoIP solution selected by Cable One

Sigma Systems, the leading provider of service management OSS solutions for delivering next-generation services on cable, wireless and IP broadband networks, announced Cable One, a rural market cable operator in the United States, has selected its VoIP OSS solutions and services to deliver a suite of new Packet Cable telephony services to its entire subscriber base.

The award winning Sigma Service Management Platform, the Sigma VoIP Service Package, Sigma Service Profile Manager and Sigma Voice Client Services Center (CSC) interoperate seamlessly with all business, network and operational systems, allowing Cable One to easily deploy new next generation services to its customers.

The Sigma(TM) Service Management Platform (SMP) and VoIP Service Package provide Cable One with the order management, resource management, service provisioning and inter-carrier gateway integration (i.e. E911, LSR, LNP, PIC/CARE) capabilities for VoIP services such as dial tone, voice mail, long distance service provider selection and CLASS/calling features. Sigma's SMP is an end-to-end solution that automates complex billing integration; soft switch and voicemail activation; as well as CLEC inter-carrier processes.

The Sigma Service Profile Manager is used by CSRs as a service order entry portal at Cable One for Voice telephony services. This application also provides visibility to the entire lifecycle of the subscriber's order, invaluable to track and manage orders from the call center. The Voice CSC is a self-service portal application and is the latest addition to the company's award-winning Sigma Systems Product Portfolio. CSC is designed specifically to meet cable operators' demands for subscriber self-care; enabling web portal management of call feature options/parameters and the ability to add/modify/delete call features.
