Shift Enjoys Continued Record Subscriber Growth for Business VoIP Services in February

Shift Networks Inc. (SHF: TSX-V) today announced preliminary sales results for February, 2005. Shift reports committed orders for 169 new subscriber lines in February, a significant increase from January's record sales of 108 new subscriber lines. Shift's total number of
subscribers has more than doubled in the first two months of 2005.

"We've exceeded our aggressive growth plan number for February and demonstrated increased acceptance as business customers begin to recognize the tremendous benefits of Shift's business telephone services. Our market intelligence indicates that relative to the size of the Alberta market served, Shift is the current national leader in providing hosted VoIP services to
small-to-medium sized businesses," said Shift President and CEO Trent Johnsen.

"Emerging VoIP service providers are receiving significant valuations in U.S. capital markets based on the growth opportunity," comments Johnsen. Leading industry analysts continue to identify small-to-medium sized businesses as the key growth sector for hosted VoIP services, which is Shift's primary market (see Shift releases: September 22, 2004 and October 7, 2004).
"The cable companies, telcos, and new entrants such as Vonage focus on the retail consumer markets, but their offerings do not compete with Shift's multi-line business services," Johnsen added.
