NexTone's Carrier Grade Technology Enables Phonetime to Expand Markets and Improve Network Performance while Lowering Capital and Operating Costs

Phonetime Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PHD), a leading Canadian supplier of long distance telecommunication services, today announced that it has successfully deployed NexTone Communication's Internet Telephony ("VoIP") session management technology. NexTone provides premier Internet telephony solutions and has designed their technology to meet the needs of serious telecom service providers. With NexTone's highly reliable VoIP platform, Phonetime will now be able to:

- Manage up to 30,000 simultaneous VoIP calls - all with superior voice quality

- Improve call completion rates

- Offer a plethora of advanced Internet enabled services in Canada and internationally
