Network Installation Adopts Standards

Leading wireless (WiMAX) network infrastructure and VOIP technology provider Network Installation Corp is Quiddity"s latest customer with a cleanly and properly designed website.

The previous website was designed from an "off the shelf" editing software package and did not even validate as well-formed HTML.

This resulted in poor web search ranking and inconsistent rendering in different web browsers. Additionally, the old website appeared dated, as it was originally created years ago.

Quiddity, in partnership with Vermonster (http://vermonster.com), completely redesigned the website, with a combination of lighter colors and an more open and inviting feel. The new HTML is both well formed and follows web standards, like strict XHTML and uses CSS. The results are staggering.

Success
As a publicly held company, the first improvement was web identity. The website now reflects their corporate culture as a high-tech company working with bleeding-edge technology. A second improvement is web search ranking.

Previously a Google search for network installation did not return the company website in the first 500 results, now they enjoy a first-page (rank of 4 or 5) with the same search terms.

A third improvement is the CMS or self-authoring backend. This allows Network Installation Corp staff to quickly update content and post articles. This example of "business blogging" creates company buzz and is a key ingredient to higher search engine exposure and successful new-media marketing.
