Meru Networks Delivers Wi-Fi Network for Fifth Annual Voda One Convergence Summit

Meru Networks, the global leader in Enterprise VoIP mobility infrastructure, today announced that it is the exclusive wireless LAN (WLAN) provider for the fifth annual Voda One Convergence Summit, being held at the Wyndham Buttes Resort in Tempe, Arizona, April 19-21, 2005. Hosted by Voda One, a specialty distributor of networking and communications technology solutions, the Summit brings together technology and solutions providers that enable converged communications.

Meru's WLAN System is enabling an estimated 1,000 attendees and exhibitors to access the Internet and their corporate networks, and exchange e-mail. Meru's unique WLAN controller and dual-mode access points are deployed throughout the convention center to support high-quality 802.11a/b/g operations for all Wi-Fi compliant devices on the exhibit floor, as well as in the break-out session areas. In addition, Meru is showcasing its WLAN system on the exhibit floor in Booth #24. The demonstration uses Meru's system in combination with a Hitachi Cable SIP-based Wi-Fi phone and Avaya SIP Server to deliver toll-quality voice over WLAN.
