Meru Networks CTO to Discuss Wireless VoIP in Three Panel Sessions at IP.4.IT Conference and Expo10 November 2005
WHO: Meru Networks, the global leader in wireless VoIP infrastructure.
WHAT: Dr. Vaduvar Bhargavan, Meru's Chief Technology Officer and Founder, will speak at the IP.4.IT Conference and Expo to be held November 14-16, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Bhargavan will participate in three panel sessions. The first session, entitled "Network Conversion Steps for Voice and Real-Time Apps", will discuss how organizations can prepare their data- oriented wireless LANs for voice and other real-time applications. Joel Conover, Principal Analyst at Current Analysis, will moderate the panel which will also include representatives from Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks and Spectralink.
The second session entitled "Achieving Mobility Nirvana", will discuss whether it is truly possible to give users ubiquitous access to data and which technologies will become the future -- wireless hotspots, 2.5/3G or a combination of the two. The session will be moderated by Craig Mathias, Principal of Farpoint Group and will also include representatives from Intel Corporation, CrystalVoice Communications and RIM. The third session, entitled "Securing Voice in the Data World" will examine the security requirements of a converged voice and data network. Additional participants will include representatives from Juniper Networks, Coyote Point, Kool Span and Lucent.
