iNuntius Licenses Talking Planet VoIP Voice Services Platform Powered By NMS Communications10 March 2005
NMS Communications (NASDAQ: NMSS - News) today announced that iNuntius' Talking Planet(TM) Voice Services Platform (VSP), built on NMS' Open Access(TM) (www.nmscommunications.com/openaccess) development framework, is now available for wholesale licensing to telecommunications carriers, enterprises, and service providers. iNuntius, a leading provider of carrier-grade wholesale VoIP and messaging services, developed the Talking Planet Voice Services Platform (VSP) to power its suite of feature-rich voice mail and voice portal products. Belkin Corporation is the first licensee and will use Talking Planet as the basis for its "callEverywhere" end-to-end VoIP solution.
The Talking Planet VSP, or media gateway, will be licensed as a fully-integrated turnkey offering to wholesale customers, allowing them to deploy a comprehensive suite of customized and branded VoIP and messaging service offerings -- such as VoIP calling, email, conference calling, IP faxing, and voice messaging services -- quickly and cost-effectively. The Talking Planet VSP is available as a privately-brandable wholesale solution, allowing iNuntius to quickly engage and implement scalable VoIP and messaging services for its customers. Talking Planet is also available as a hosted solution.
As a result of iNuntius' longtime partnership with Belkin Corporation, Belkin has licensed the Talking Planet VSP for use in its new "callEverywhere" end-to-end VoIP offering. Using the VSP, Belkin's wholesale VoIP solution customers can develop unique service plans and customize web-based branded customer interfaces. iNuntius is the back-end service provider, and Belkin will provide the hardware and sales distribution, logistics, and technical support.
