General Components Provides VoIP Enterprise Solution to Motorola China19 May 2005
General Components Inc. (GCI) (OTCBB:GCPO) announced today that it is providing the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Enterprise system to Motorola China to facilitate its corporate voice communication. The service package contains gateways, IADs and soft switch licenses. The Phase 1 installation has completed. The Motorola IT team is receiving technical training this week.
Since January 2005, General Components has formed collaborative relationship with Tekelec (NASDAQ:TKLC) and launched a complete Enterprise VoIP system including: server, firewall, IP phone, gateway and IAD in China. GCI's Enterprise VoIP systems are marketed, licensed and distributed through GCI's network under GCI's own brands and trademarks. GCI is currently providing solutions to three types of enterprise markets - small-medium enterprises (SME), large corporations and special interest groups.
