The sale of power generators by Complete Power Solutions (CPS), a subsidiary of CHDT, accounted for $610,000 of the sales for the month. The January 2006 gross revenue figure is a 940% increase over total gross revenues of $73,000 for all CHDT operations for the entire first month of FY2005.
Stem Cell stocks got a boost Friday with the news that philanthropist Eli Broad has donated $25 million USC to build a stem cell center. U.S. BioDefense (OTCBB: UBDE) led the field up 31% to $3.95 on the heels of its announcement that it has successfully completed the evaluation and validation of its human neural crest stem cells as a part of its agreement with the University of British Columbia. The company is considering investigating the stem cells applications in combating ALS and Parkinson's disease.
CytoDyn, Inc. (OTCBB: CYDY) has been advised by its investigators in the United States and Hong Kong that there is no derogatory information that would preclude the Company from joining with Timeway International for a joint venture in China. The anticipated joint venture would develop Cytolin®, CytoDyn's targeted immune therapy for HIV/AIDS, in that populous Asian nation. UNAIS and other organizations have estimated that by 2010 there could be a generalized HIV epidemic in China with between 10 and 20 million Chinese infected.
