ECI Telecom Announces Completion of Telcordias OSMINE Process for the Hi-FOCuS22 December 2004
Completion of this process is a significant achievement for ECI Telecom as it continues to expand its advancements in DSL and FTTP (FTTx) fiber solutions for service providers worldwide and mainly in North America.
Equipment manufacturers that offer network elements to carriers (ILECs) must verify that these products interoperate in a multi-vendor environment with the embedded base of operations systems. Telcordia's continuing support for next generation access systems ensures that ECI's Hi-FOCuS systems can be seamlessly integrated with service providers that have deployed Telcordia Operating System Support (OSS's).

This allows the smooth migration from ATM to IP/Ethernet architectures.
