C-COR Introduces VoiceAssure for Cable Operators Deploying VoIP

C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq:CCBL - News), a global provider of interoperable network solutions that simplify the transition to on demand networks, today announced the introduction of VoiceAssure. As the newest component of C-COR's CableEdge(TM) suite of applications for the management of DOCSIS® services, bandwidth and devices, VoiceAssure provides the capabilities to manage critical health metrics, implementation diagnostics, and on-going quality and capacity management of IP networks and IP telephony-based services. C-COR will have its first public showing of VoiceAssure at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo (Booth #8094) in San Antonio, Texas, on June 14-17, 2005.

Cable operators deploying VoIP face critical requirements to provide a real-time, latency-sensitive, and problem-free IP telephony service. C-COR's VoiceAssure offers an array of DOCSIS service and network management capabilities for the complete VoIP service life cycle from initial network analysis and optimization to on-going fault and performance management to capacity planning.
